I was born in Thames, New Zealand and studied a Bachelor of Media Arts in Hamilton. I now live near the beach in Auckland, New Zealand with my family. After being a graphic designer for 18 years, I'm now following my passion of working as a full-time artist.

My journey as an artist has been both revitalised and influenced by my trips abroad to places like India and my year sabbatical living in China in 2015. From the use of bright colours to patterns, the inspiration is evident in my work. 

I am a contemporary New Zealand artist working both in ink pen and digital mediums. I am a proud Kiwi and am inspired by our beautiful country, exploring themes of New Zealand, and it's flora and fauna. A contemporary art NZ business with a passion for quality and excellent service, Anna Mollekin takes pride in creativity and quality.

I am also the proud owner of doodlewear, an online shop that collaborates with New Zealand artists to provide customers with quality art print tops and homeware. I purchased doodlewear in March 2021 when Libby was moving into a new chapter of her life. As a doodlewear contributor artist for almost as long as doodlewear has existed, and with strong marketing, graphic design, printing and art background, I jumped at the chance. So to me, doodlewear is like a dream business come true that fits like a glass slipper.
